Call: The 2024 AKA Graduate Education Pre-Workshop will explore the following topic:

Leading Graduate Education with Confidence in this Dynamic Era of Higher Education
We are seeking interactive and engaging proposals which address topics including:

  1. Integrating social justice imperatives/advancing in graduate programs
  2. Artificial inteeligence in graduate education
  3. Recruiting, retaining, and mentoring Gen Z graduate students
  4. Demographic cliff future impacts graduate education
  5. What is the meaning/value of a graduate degree today?
  6. Science communication training for graduate students

Guidelines: Successful proposals will include:

  1. Description of the presentation (150 words). Presentations time will vary based on number of accepted abstracts.
  2. Two (2) learning outcomes for session participants

EXTENDED DEADLINE: December 7th, 2023 (5 pm CST); Notification of Acceptance by December 11th, 2023
