American Kinesiology Association membership is open to all academic departments related to the field of kinesiology and all of the associated sub-disciplinary fields. AKA members work together as a unified entity to advance the development of all academic interest, research opportunities and professional development of all those involved in the study and practice of kinesiology, human movement and related professional fields.
AKA membership runs September 1st – August 31st. Annual departmental membership dues:
- Doctoral degree granting departments: $900
- Master’s degree granting departments: $500
- Bachelor’s degree granting departments: $300
- Associate degree granting departments: $150
