Emerging Leader Institute

The Emerging Leader Institute utilizes a mentoring model to provide exceptional training and networking for faculty leading department programs (e.g. program directors, education (undergraduate or graduate) directors, assistant/associate department chairs, those actively pursuing chair positions along with other such positions) and emerging faculty leaders who aspire to advance toward such positions in the future. The focus of this program is toward more early and mid-career faculty. The goal of the Emerging Leader Institute is to provide professional development for faculty currently in or interested in initial departmental leadership opportunities.
